Why have your WordPress website maintained?
A WordPress website consists of the WordPress software, a theme and usually several plugins. These components receive regular updates. By carrying out maintenance on a schedule and checking the website afterward, issues go unnoticed for less time.
You choose the level of protection you need. Basic focuses on updates and checks. With Plus or Premium, you add external backups, monitoring and more extensive security checks. Also read why regular website maintenance matters.

Frequently asked questions about
WordPress website maintenance
Find answers to frequently asked questions about updates, backups, pricing and taking over an existing WordPress website.
How much does WordPress website maintenance cost?
You can start with Basic for €14.99 per month. Plus costs €24.99 and Premium €34.99 per month. All prices are excl. VAT and apply per WordPress website.
Do you also maintain websites built by someone else?
Yes. We first check the technical condition of the website and whether we have the right access. Existing errors and overdue maintenance are not automatically covered by the monthly package.
Are backups included?
Basic does not include an external backup. A backup within the hosting environment can be used if the hosting supports it and enough space is available. Plus includes a weekly external backup and Premium two external backups per week.
Can I add daily external backups?
Yes. Daily external backups are available as an add-on from €14.99 per month. The final price depends on the size of the website and the storage required.
How often is my WordPress website maintained?
Regular WordPress, plugin and theme updates are carried out monthly. Backups, monitoring and security checks are performed according to the components of your chosen package.
What happens if an update causes problems?
After updates, we check the most important parts of the website. If a recovery is needed, we use an available, usable backup or discuss the work required. Extensive recovery and existing technical issues may be charged separately.
Do you also maintain WooCommerce webshops?
Yes, after a technical check. A webshop changes more often because of orders, customer data and inventory. That’s why we usually recommend more frequent external backups for webshops.
Is hosting included in the maintenance?
No, the maintenance packages can also be used on your existing hosting. Hosting with Webarctic can be arranged separately if you want everything with one provider.
